HOW TO DONATE

1. ONLINE DONATION:

We are pleased to announce that long awaited automated system of Tax Receipt issuance is functioning now. This system on the “DONATE” page:

  • Enables CERF to send Acknowledgement the official Tax Receipt automatically as soon as you make your donation.
  • Monthly online donation: now by just one checkbox (in the same form) you can convert your donation into automatic monthly donation.
  • Use of credit card is as secure as it can be on PayPal or any website.

PayPal: We would request you please donate through the new system on the “DONATE” page. However, if you still like to use PayPal and, are okay without the acknowledgement from CERF and to receive Tax Receipt at the end of the year, please click HERE.

2. DIRECT DEPOSIT:

If you make a direct deposit to CERF’s bank account, please email us a “picture of bank receipt” . We need transit number to identify your deposit. Please also email your “complete address” which is required to be on the tax receipt. We will email the Tax Receipt.

3. Interac e-TRANSFER:

You may like to donate directly from your bank account. Please e-Transfer your donation to donation@cerfcanada.com. We have an Auto-deposit set up so there is no need for security question and answer. If this is your first time donation to CERF, please include your email address and address (you would like to be on the tax receipt) in the message section of the eTransfer. We will email the tax receipt.

4. CHEQUE:

Please make cheque payable to “Cancer Education Research Foundation” and mail to the address below. Or you can deposit your cheque to any CIBC branch to the account and transit number above. If you deposit to CERF’s bank account, please email us a “picture of bank receipt” and your “complete address”.  We will email the Tax Receipt

5. MONTHLY DONATION FROM BANK ACCOUNT:

The CERF is pleased to offer an easy method to donors who wish to contribute without the inconvenience of cheque writing and increasing cost of mailing. With your permission, we will be pleased to process your donation automatically through your bank. This is not only simpler, but it also eliminates the 3% fee which is charged by card processing companies. Simply download the form, complete it and email us a picture of the signed form and void cheque. You can stop the pre-authorized payment anytime by emailing us one week notice.
